Tesla misses earnings consensus by 39% in Q2, shares slide

Tesla (TSLA) missed Wall Street's consensus for second-quarter adjusted earnings per share (EPS) late Wednesday. TSLA stock dropped over 2.5% afterhours on the news as the EV-battery-robot company reported adjusted EPS of $0.33 compared with the analyst consensus of $0.54.
