Natural gas: Prices surge on supply risks – ING

ING’s Warren Patterson notes European natural gas prices have rallied, with TTF breaking above EUR100/MWh for the first time since 2022 as supply concerns intensify ahead of the 2026/27 winter. He highlights disrupted Persian Gulf LNG flows, Norwegian outages, colder weather forecasts and emerging demand destruction in power and industrial sectors, including reduced gas use by European chemical producers.
