Monday evening, Tesla teased the coming launch event on X, saying that customers riding a Tesla robo-taxi through Aug. 23 would have a chance to be invited to a Cybercab launch event. Tesla launched an AI-trained robo-taxi service in Austin, Texas, in June 2025 using Model Y vehicles running the company’s Full-Self Driving software.
