The Dow Jones' 30 corporate borrowers eat a Fed rate hike

The Federal Reserve (Fed) has raised its rate to 3.75-4.00% on Wednesday, its first increase since 2023 and its first move of any kind since the cut in December 2025. The rate it sets is what banks pay to borrow from each other overnight, and it reaches this index in two places.
