The Dow Is on Pace for Its Worst September in 3 Years

The Dow Jones Industrial Average’s worst September since 2023 continued on Monday. The blue-chip index was down 300 points, or 0.6%. The S&P 500 was down 0.4%. The Nasdaq Composite was down 0.5%. September is historically the worst month of the year for the major indexes, but this September has been the worst one in a few years for the Dow.
